🏙️ Quick question: how many places within a mile of your house sell tobacco? If you’re not sure, you’re not alone — Riverside County doesn’t currently limit how many tobacco retailers can set up shop in one area, or how close they can be to schools, parks, and other places kids hang out.A proposed update to the County’s retail rules would change that — capping the number of tobacco permits per area and keeping new tobacco retailers a reasonable distance from schools, parks, and other tobacco shops.
