PUBLIC POLICY LEAD
Diane is a dedicated public health advocate with a deep passion for improving health outcomes in underserved communities through thoughtful and inclusive policy change. As the Public Policy Lead for the Blue Zones Project Palm Springs, Diane leverages data, community input, and stakeholder collaboration to drive meaningful, long-term improvements in public health.
Prior to her current role, Diane served as the Data and Systems Manager at the Regional Access Project(RAP) Foundation, where she applied Results-Based Accountability to guide nonprofit grant funding and assess the impact of community funding. She also partnered with Riverside County Public Health to advance nutrition education and tobacco policy initiatives for RAP’s Coachella Valley Healthy Living Project .
With experience in policy advocacy, community engagement, and data analysis, Diane brings both compassion and strategic insight to her work. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Health Policy and Management at UC Berkeley, further deepening her commitment to creating healthier communities.
Outside of work, Diane finds joy in raising her son, Atlas, with her partner. She is driven by a personal and professional mission to ensure all families in Palm Springs have the opportunity to thrive.
