PAUL KAPLAN GROUP DESIGNATED A BLUE ZONES PROJECT PALM SPRINGS PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATION

Palm Springs real estate team becomes the first in its sector to join the local Blue Zones movement, highlighting the important connection between where we live and how we live.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Blue Zones Project Palm Springs is proud to announce that Paul Kaplan Group, a longtime Palm Springs real estate team, has officially been designated as a Blue Zones Project Participating Organization, becoming the first real estate team to partner with Blue Zones Project Palm Springs.

For more than 25 years, Paul Kaplan Group has helped people buy and sell homes throughout Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. But real estate professionals do much more than help people find a house. They often introduce new residents to Palm Springs, help them understand its neighborhoods, and connect them to the people, places, businesses, and experiences that can turn a new address into a community.

“Where we live has an enormous influence on how we live,” said Mihai Pătru, Executive Director of Blue Zones Project Palm Springs. “Real estate professionals are often among the first people welcoming someone into Palm Springs. They can help people discover not just a home, but a neighborhood where they can walk, connect with others, support local businesses, find purpose, and become part of the community. That is why having Paul Kaplan Group as our first real estate partner is so exciting.”

Paul Kaplan Group has deep roots in Palm Springs, specializing in the city’s distinctive neighborhoods and architectural properties while helping clients navigate buying, selling, relocating, downsizing, and investing in the desert. Through its participation with Blue Zones Project Palm Springs, the group is extending that local connection to well-being—encouraging healthier choices among its team, clients, friends, and neighbors and helping introduce more people to the principles of the Blue Zones lifestyle.

“After more than 25 years helping people find their place in Palm Springs, I’ve learned that choosing a home is really about choosing a life,” said Paul Kaplan, Founder of Paul Kaplan Group. “It’s about the neighbors you know, the places you walk, the people you connect with, and feeling like you’re part of a community. That’s why the Blue Zones Project feels like such a natural fit for us. We want to help people not only find a great home in Palm Springs, but live a healthier, happier and more connected life once they’re here.”

This partnership also demonstrates how the real estate sector can contribute to community well-being. A home connects people to sidewalks, parks, grocery stores, restaurants, neighbors, gathering places, transportation, and community resources. Those everyday surroundings can make it easier—or harder—for people to move naturally, build relationships, eat well, and stay engaged with their community.

For Blue Zones Project Palm Springs, engaging organizations like Paul Kaplan Group is part of a larger effort to make well-being something that is built into everyday life rather than something individuals have to pursue alone.

As a Participating Organization, Paul Kaplan Group joins a growing network of Palm Springs organizations helping make healthier choices and stronger social connections easier. The group also plans to host activities and opportunities that introduce its team, clients, and community to Blue Zones principles.
