Blue Zones Project Palm Springs Celebrates Vinophile Café as Newest Approved Restaurant
European-inspired café recognized on June 25 for making healthy choices delicious through plant-forward dining and thoughtfully curated wines.
Palm Springs, CA — June 22, 2026 — Blue Zones Project Palm Springs will celebrate Vinophile Café as its newest Approved Restaurant with a Blue Ribbon Celebration on Thursday, June 25, at 4:30 p.m. Community members are invited to attend the free event, which will feature complimentary tastings, raffle prizes, and a ceremonial ribbon cutting honoring the downtown Palm Springs café’s commitment to making healthy choices easier and more delicious.
Located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, Vinophile Café brings together European café culture with a thoughtfully curated menu of fresh, plant-forward cuisine, artisanal coffee, and organic wines. The café joins a growing network of Blue Zones Project Approved Restaurants dedicated to making healthy choices easier and more delicious.
Vinophile Café is creating a space where people can gather, connect, and enjoy healthy, delicious cuisine,” said Palm Springs Mayor Naomi Soto. “Their commitment to well-being and community is helping make Palm Springs an even healthier and more vibrant place to live, work, and visit.”
Following the Blue Ribbon Celebration, guests may continue the festivities with an optional Blue Zones-inspired dinner and wine pairing experience featuring flavors and wines inspired by the original Blue Zones regions around the world. “Jennifer and the team at Vinophile Café have created something truly special,” said Mihai Patru, Executive Director of Blue Zones Project Palm Springs. “They’ve shown that healthy living and exceptional culinary experiences go hand in hand. Their passion for creating a welcoming gathering place and offering plant-forward options makes it easier for residents and visitors alike to enjoy delicious choices that support longevity and well-being.”
For owner Jennifer Carter, creating a plant-forward experience was part of the vision from the very beginning. “From the beginning, I envisioned Vinophile Café as a gathering place where people could slow down, connect, and enjoy beautiful food and wine that supports a healthy lifestyle,” said Carter. “Plant-forward cuisine was part of the vision from day one. I wanted to create a European-style café experience centered around fresh ingredients, thoughtful choices, and meaningful moments, and it’s incredibly rewarding to be recognized by Blue Zones Project Palm Springs.”
Blue Zones Project Approved Restaurants implement evidence-based best practices that help make healthy choices easier, including increasing plant-based offerings, highlighting healthier menu options, and creating environments that encourage connection and community.
The Blue Ribbon Celebration is free and open to the public and begins at 4:30 p.m. Guests who wish to continue the celebration may reserve a seat for an intimate Blue Zones-inspired dinner and wine pairing experience from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., featuring thoughtfully curated cuisine and wines inspired by the world’s longevity hotspots.
